Owned and operated by Jack Beck and Vicki VanRoekel a husband and wife team of retired professional educators from Arizona.

For many years Jack & Vicki actively volunteered with Rescue A Golden of Arizona, a non-profit organization who’s mission was to find loving homes for Golden Retrievers who were lost or unwanted.

Besides the love they share for animals they are also self-proclaimed Jimmy Buffett fans known as “Parrot Heads”. Lost Shaker comes from a line in the Jimmy Buffett hit song Margaritaville.

Lost Shaker Alpacas relocated from the Phoenix Metropolitan area to a 12 acre farm in Twin Falls Idaho in the fall of 2005.
