Lost Shaker Alpacas is a small farm able to fill all of your needs on your alpaca journey. We offer ongoing support, quality breeding stock, young, stud service, boarding, raw fleeces and will do custom home spun yarns from either your fleece or mine. Personalized attention to you and your alpacas is very important to Lost Shaker Alpacas.

Alpacas are considerably smaller than llamas and unlike them are not used as beasts of burden but are valued only for their fiber. The fiber comes in more than 22 natural colors. Alpaca fleece is a luxurious fibre, similar to sheep's wool in some respects, but lighter in weight, silkier to the touch, warmer, not prickly and bears no lanolin, making it nearly hypoallergenic.
